 นายไพศาล พืชมงคล เลขาธิการ สมาคมวัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจไทย-จีน เปิดเผยว่าการประชุมร่วมคณะทำงานของคณะกรรมการบริหารการศึกษาสัมพันธ์ไทย-จีน กับคณะทำงานของมหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียว ประเทศจีน ได้ข้อสรุปว่าในปีการศึกษา 2556 มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียว ประเทศจีน จะมอบทุนการศึกษาแก่ประเทศไทยจำนวน 80 ทุน        นายไพศาล พืชมงคล กล่าวว่าทุนการศึกษาดังกล่าวเป็นทุนการศึกษาแบบให้เปล่าและไม่มีเงื่อนไข มีมูลค่าทุนละประมาณ 400,000 บาท เพื่อให้ข้าราชการจากทุกส่วนราชการของประเทศไทย เดินทางไปเรียนภาษาจีนที่ประเทศจีนเป็นเวลา 1 ปี โดยฝ่ายจีนมอบหมายให้สมาคมวัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจไทย-จีน เป็นผู้ประสานงาน และได้ดำเนินการมาแล้ว 8 รุ่น โดยในรุ่นที่ 8 มีจำนวนทุน 60 ทุน ประกอบด้วยทุนที่มอบแก่สมาคมฯ โดยตรง 50 ทุน และทุนสำหรับโครงการพิเศษที่มอบหมายให้        นายไพศาล พืชมงคล เลขาธิการ ประสานงานในโครงการพิเศษอีก 10 ทุน ซึ่งข้าราชการที่ได้รับทุนการศึกษารุ่นที่ 8 ได้เดินทางไปศึกษาที่ประเทศจีนแล้ว        นายไพศาล พืชมงคล กล่าวว่าคณะผู้แทนของทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ประชุมกันเมื่อวันที่ 7 กุมภาพันธ์ 2556 และตกลงกันมีข้อสรุปดังนี้        ประการแรก มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียว ประเทศจีน จะมอบทุนการศึกษาแก่ประเทศไทยในปี 2556 ซึ่งเป็นรุ่นที่ 9 เพื่อให้ข้าราชการจากทุกส่วนราชการเดินทางไปเรียนภาษาจีนที่ประเทศจีน ต่อเนื่องจากปีที่แล้ว        ประการที่สอง จำนวนทุนการศึกษารุ่นที่ 9 จะมีทั้งสิ้น 80 ทุน ประกอบด้วยทุนที่มอบให้แก่สมาคมฯ เพื่อประสานงานมอบแก่ข้าราชการไทยทุกส่วนจำนวน 60 ทุน ทุนที่มอบให้แก่ข้าราชการของสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาวจำนวน 10 ทุน โดยมอบหมายให้คณะกรรมการบริหารด้านการศึกษาสัมพันธ์ไทย-จีน ของสมาคมฯ ดำเนินการประสานงานต่อไป และอีกจำนวน 10 ทุน สำหรับโครงการพิเศษที่ให้อยู่ในอำนาจและดุลพินิจของนายไพศาล พืชมงคล เลขาธิการ        ประการที่สาม กำหนดการเดินทางไปยังประเทศจีนของผู้ที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกให้ได้รับทุนการศึกษา จะเป็นช่วงปลายเดือนสิงหาคม 2556        นายไพศาล พืชมงคล กล่าวว่าจะนำผลการประชุมดังกล่าวนำเสนอต่อที่ประชุมเต็มคณะของคณะกรรมการบริหารการศึกษาสัมพันธ์ไทย-จีน ของสมาคมฯ ซึ่งมีพลเอก วิชิต ยาทิพย์ อุปนายก เป็นประธานในสัปดาห์หน้า. ที่มา - สมาคมวัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจไทย-จีน

Duration of award(s): Projects will be funded for a maximum duration of between 24 and 30 months, with an expected start date between 1 September 2013 and 1 November 2013.
