2011 Fall Semester, Chinese Culture University Scholarship for International Students, Taiwan
The Chinese Culture University Scholarship is solely offered to candidates who wish to enroll for our programs for Master’s Degrees, Taiwan.
Study Subject: Program Taught in English at the Chinese Culture University, Yang-Ming-Shan, Taipei
Program:
1. Master in International Business Administration (MBA)
2. Master in Journalism
3. Master in Biotechnology
4. Master in Architecture and Urban Design
5. Master in Digital Mechatronic Technology
6. Master in English and American Literatures
7. Master in Earth Sciences
8. Master in Sport Coaching Science
Eligibility to apply:
To be an “International Student”: an international student must NOT:
. Be a citizen of the Republic of China (ROC).
. Hold the status of overseas Chinese.
. Have lost ROC citizenship for less than 8 years before the first day of his/her first CCU semester.
. Hold a valid and legally-obtained certificate or diploma of his/her highest level of education in his/her home country, which must be equivalent to those awarded by ROC universities or schools at various educational levels.
. Apply to other universities as an overseas Chinese.
. Have been expelled from any university.

Upon a detailed evaluation and approval process, the admitted students will earn a full scholarship including tuitions and dormitory charges for two years. Some students may also get an additional assistantship to serve as a TA, RA or AA with a monthly payment up to NT$ 5,000 (equivalent to 5,000 baht).
Required Documents:
1. Fill the application form (with your signature) as attached in this email.
2. Certificate stating that the applicant who has had or once had dual nationality has lost his/her citizenship to the Republic of China (if available).
3. Certificate of the highest education diploma (those in languages other than Chinese and English should be translated into Chinese or English).
4. Transcripts of the highest education diploma (those in languages other than Chinese and English should be translated into Chinese or English).
5. Two sealed recommendation letters (in English or Chinese).
6. Study plan (for detail information of the department program, please see from university website).
7. Certificates of outstanding performances (those in languages other than Chinese and English should be translated into Chinese or English).
8. Proof of English proficiency e.g. TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS (if available).
9. Recent photograph (1″x2″).
10. Photo copy of the passport page bearing the name and nationality of the holder.
11. Job certificate (if available).
