Macquarie University International Scholarship (MUIS)
The MUIS is a full tuition scholarship for outstanding students from around the world to study at Macquarie University.

The MUIS is highly competitive and awarded for academic merit.

Applicants must:
• Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
• Hold a full offer of admission to a degree program at Macquarie University North Ryde campus by the application
deadline.
• Have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 (postgraduate applications) or a minimum ATAR equivalent of 92 out of 100 (undergraduate applications).

MUIS Merit Scholarship

A partial tuition single scholarship for outstanding students from
selected countries to study at Macquarie University North Ryde
campus.The MUIS is awarded for academic merit and is automatically offered to eligible students when they receive a Letter of Offer.

To be eligible, students must:
• Be a citizen of one of the countries listed on the MUIS website.
• Hold a full offer of admission to a degree program at Macquarie
University North Ryde.
• Have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (postgraduate applications) or a minimum ATAR equivalent of 90 out of 100 (undergraduate applications).

MUIS Merit Scholarship
The MUIS and MUIS Merit are not available to students studying at
Macquarie City Campus or Sydney Institute of Business and Technology .
